About Recollect

Jon Henshaw created Recollect because he couldn't find a notes app with everything he wanted, which included:

• a minimalist design that drops the need for folders or a multi-columnar layout.
• a fast, performant UX that uses shortcuts (hotkeys) to find notes and navigate the app quickly.
• a progressive web app (PWA) that works on any operating system and device, as well as offline.
• an app that made it easy to share and collaborate on notes with others.

Recollect is Jon's answer to those desires. It has become an app he uses daily, and he’s committed to its long-term refinement and improvement.
